California Modern Crochet Medallion Pattern

Crocheted Medallion Bedspread: This pattern gives directions to crochet the bedspread shown. This spread is made up of 4 inch square motifs in a four point star type motif. The blocks are joined to form single and double spreads. This design is vintage 1950's from Spool Cotton Company. The pattern was also issued in leaflet form under the name of National Needlecraft Bureau.

Materials:  J. & P. COATS "KNIT-CRO-SHEEN," Art. A.64: or CLARK'S O.N.T. MERCERIZED BEDSPREAD COTTON, Art. B.504: Single Size Spread-76 x 108 inches-70 balls of No. 1 White; Double Size Spread-96 x 108 inches-80 balls of No. 1 White; or  J. & P. COATS BEDSPREAD COTTON, Art. A.800: Single Size Spread-76 x 108 inches-60 balls of No. 1 White. Double Size Spread-96 x 108 inches-80 balls of No. 1 White.;   Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 7.

GAUGE: Each motif measures 4 inches square.
