Colorful Sunburst Crochet Doily Pattern

Sunburst: This pattern contains directions for crocheting the doilies pictured. The design, folded fan like, is worked in four colors of Mercerized Crochet Cotton, with a lacy mesh center and colors bans that radiate out, making the name of Sunburst most appropriate. When completed the doilies can be made at either 7 or 9 1/2 inches in diameter and will create a marvelous color spot on a table of your choice. This pattern is vintage 1960s from American Thread.

Materials:

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY The Famous "STAR" SPANGLED MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40 – 1 ball each Gold & Silver Spangle, Aqua Spangle and Purples and Silver Spangle. (Approximate size: 9 inches in diameter) or The Famous "PURITAN" MERCERIZED CROCHET COTTON, Article 40 – 1 ball each White, Turquoise and Shaded Purples or colors of your choice. (Approximate size: 7 ½ inches in diameter).
