Crochet Bedspread Pattern Called Winding Path or Barred Window

Crochet Bedspread : This pattern contains directions to crochet the bedspread shown. This vintage 1937 crochet pattern motif, Lily Mills No 803, is known by two separate name - Winding Path as well as Barred Window. This is a block motif spread, each being approx. 3 5/8 inches. The blocks are laid out in a staggered manner, giving them a bit of a winding path look. The edges are staggered as well, and finished with thick fringed tassels, further adding to the unique look.

Materials:

• Daisy Mercerized Crochet Cotton No. 20, 36 skeins, or 30 balls Lily Sky-Tone Mercerized Crochet Cotton, with four extra units for the fringe.
• No.8 Lily's Viking brand crochet hook.
