Crochet Ivy Doily Pattern, Yellow Flowers

Ivy Doily : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doily pictured. This vintage 1960's design from American Thread was officially named Ivy. I have no idea why, as neither the flowers nor the inner band motif resemble Ivy, but, do have to admit that it is quite an attractive. It all starts with a center flower in yellow, surrounded by a lacy and changing pattern stitch that ends in another scalloped row of the yellow flowers. The finished doily will measure either a large 21 or 25 inches in diameter, depending upon which Crochet Cotton is used.
