Crocheted Star and Wreath Bedspread No 809

Bedspread Design No 809 : This pattern contains directions to make the crocheted spread pictured. The pattern does not state the actual size of the blocks (or the finished spread), however, from the picture, I'd say they are Large! Each large block features a floral wreath motif with an eight point star in the middle. The motifs are joined together and a long fringe is added to three sides. This design is No 809 from Lily Mills, vintage 1938.

Materials:

• Daisy Mercerized Crochet Cotton, No. 10, 36 to 40 skeins, or Lily Sky-Tone Mercerized Crochet Cotton, 30 to 32 balls
• Lily's Viking brand No.7 crochet hook.
