High Top Slipper Pattern, Flower Embroidery

No 4048 - This knit / crochet pattern contains instructions to crochet the slippers pictured. The vintage design, 1940s from Coats Clarks, can be termed high tops. They are ankle length with ribbing and a tie strap to keep them in place. A carefree flower embroidery graces the top. This is, no doubt, a fun to wear set of slippers - sized small, medium and large - your choice.

Materials:

• - Chadwicks Red Heart Knitting Worsted, 8 balls (1 oz) of Scarlet for Small and Medium sizes and 9 balls for Large Size
• - Scraps of Blue, Yellow and Green Knitting Worsted for Trim
• - Bone crochet hook No 5
• - Double pointed bone sock needles, 1 set No 5 (4 mm size)

Gauge: (Stockinette st) 5-1/2 st make 1 inch; 7 rnds make 1 inch.
