Description
Violets : This pattern contains directions to crochet the doilies shown. The pattern, named Violets Large and Small, vintage 1960s from American Thread, gives us two variations of the same doily. The first design, the large doily, features a center wheel motif surrounded by a narrow circle of colored violets, then a pretty motif pattern stitch in white and then, a wider band of violets. This doily measures 11 inches in diameter. The small doily is made without the outside border of violets and will measure 7 1/4 inches.
