Lazy Daisy Loops Oval Circle Crocheted Rug Pattern

Lazy Daisy Loops Rugs :  This pattern contains directions to crochet both the rugs shown.  Interestingly enough, American thread, Vintage 1951, named these Rugs Lazy Daisy, which they DO NOT call for the Lazy Daisy Tool.  There are two variations of the loop stitched, or tufted, rugs.  Both require creation of small circles that each measure 7 inches.  These then surround either a large oval or a small circle; your choice.  The completed oval rug will measure 31 x 43 inches the the circle rug will measure 28 inches in diameter.  Both patterns have a materials change should you wish to make a smaller rug.   A great area rug for any room you might.  

Materials - Oval Rug 

AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "STAR" RUG YARN, ARTICLE 44

1. 15-80yd. Skeins Any Color desired.
2. Bone Crochet Hook No.5.

Finished rug measures about 31 x 43 inches. Each small circle measures about 7inches in diameter. Oval measures about 15 x 29 inches. 

Materials - Circle Rug 

• AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "STAR" RUG YARN, ARTICLE 44
• 10-80yd. Skeins Any Color desired.
• Bone Crochet Hook No.5.

Finished rug measures about 28 inches in diameter.

Each small circle measures about 7 inches in diameter and large circle measures about 14 inches in diameter.
