Description

Style No 4043:   This pattern gives directions for knitting the vest shown.   In a tweed type effect, this vintage 1957 Spinnerin vest design features a lowered v-neck, contrast edges, front button band, slot pockets and below waist length.  The pattern is written for mans size small (36-38), with changes for medium (40-42) and large (44-46) in parentheses. 

Materials:   

  • SPINNERIN Candour Heather (3 oz. skeins) — 2 Main Color (M C)   
  • SPINNERIN Candour Tweed (3 oz. Skeins) – 2 Contrasting Color (C C)  
  • 1 pair each straight knitting needles Nos. 1 and 3   
  • 5 buttons  
  • 1 yd. 1-1/2 inch grosgrain ribbon  

GAUGE: 7 sts = 1 inch; 10 rows = 1 inch
