Description

No 734-17 Mens Cable Sweater :  This pattern contains directions to knit the sweater pictured.   This is a no frills piece, just the bold statement of row upon vertical row of wide cable, complimented but narrow bands of ribbing at openings.   It's a pullover and sized for men Small (36-38), Medium, (40-42) and Large (44-46).  The design is vintage 1960s from Columbia Minerva. 

Materials: 

  •  - COLUMBIA-MINERVA Nylapaca (1 oz. skein)- Main Color (MC) - 11 (11-13) skeins; 1 skein of Contrasting Color OR
  • - COLUMBIA-MINERVA Nylon and Wool Fingering Yarn (1 oz. skeins=-Main Color (MC) - 11(11- 13) skeins; 1 skein of Contrasting Color
  • - 1 pair each Boye straight knitting needles No.1 and 3 
  • - 1 set Boye d p needles No.1

 GAUGE: 8 sts = 1 inch : 12 rows = 1 inch
