Scotch Crochet Hats Pattern for Mother Daughter with Ribbon Trim

PC1317 : This pattern contains directions to crochet the mother and daughter combo hat shown. It's a dual set, almost exact in directions, to crochet what Spool Cotton Company, vintage 1943, called a Scotch Cap. This design, fits squarely on the head with a raised from crown that colds in at the sides. The base has ribbon woven through and there is a feather on the side. This design would be prime for any number of trim variations.

Materials:

• CHADWICK'S RED HEART KNITTING WORSTED, 4 balls (1 oz. balls) for the 2 caps.
• Bone Crochet Hook No.8.
• 2 yards of 1 inch ribbon, for both caps. 2 feathers.

Use double strand throughout.
