Snowflake Motif Crochet Pattern for Luncheon Set Cloths

Snowfall Luncheon Set : This pattern gives directions for crocheting the set pictured. This dainty design is referred to as a Tom Thumb motif in the vintage 1940's pattern from The Spool Cotton Company. The small 2 1/8 inch motif are crocheted and then joined together to form placemats that will measure 10 1/2 x 16 1/2 or a runner that is 13 1/2 x 29 inches. Of course, the motif can be used to create cloths or chair sets in other sizes.

MATERIALS: CLARK'S O.N.T. or J. & P. COATS BEST SIX CORD MERCERIZED CROCHET, size 50.

• SMALL BALL: CLARK'S O.N.T.-17 balls of White or Ecru, or 24 balls of any color, ORJ. & P. COATS-12 balls of White or Ecru, or 17 balls of any color.
