Description

B-709 :  This pattern contains instructions to crochet the hat pictured above. The close fitting cap features a wide brim for style variations. Wear it down to keep the sun from your eyes, or flip it up in the front or sides. This is also a perfect candidate for further adornment - try ribbons, pins, or a big bold button. The pattern vintage 1960s from Coats and Clarks and is one-size.

Materials: 

  • COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART® KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out skeins): 4 ounces of any color. 
  • Crochet Hook Size H. 
  •  3/4 yard grosgrain ribbon, 3/4 inch wide. 

GAUGE: 4 sc = 1 inch; 9 rnds = 2 inches.
