Alice Brooks 6008, Crocheted Flower Doilies

Crocheted Doilies:  These three crocheted doilies done in heavy thread can be made very quickly. The doilies can be worked in four strands of Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton used together or of a heavy Perle Cotton especially adaptable for this type crochet. The doilies come in three sizes--18 inches, 12 inches and 6 inches.

This is a Mail Order Designs pattern purchased through newspapers.  The pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks (Household Arts) in 1937.   

Materials:  Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (500 yard) skeins or Perle Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton in (4 ounce) skeins and a No. 0 steel crochet hook.
