Alice Brooks 7236, Horse Filet Crochet Chair Doily Set

Filet Crochet Chair Set:  This filet crocheted chair set is made of No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. The chair set can also be used as a buffet set or the chair back can be used as ends for scarfs.   The motif, a pair of horse heads surrounded by a U-wreath floral bouquet.  The sets consists of a chair back that is 12-1/2 x 16 inches and the floral arm rests are 6 x 12-1/2. 

This is a Mail Order Design pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Alice Brooks 7236.  "They've got their heads together, but its no secret these thoroughbreds in filet lend charm to chair or buffet".  

MATERIAL REQUIREMENTS: No. 50 Mercerized Crochet Cotton in (175 yard) balls and a No.14 steel crochet hook. (9 balls of cotton will make either a chair set or two scarf ends.)
