Anne Cabot 5326 Filet Centerpiece Poinciana Star Doily

Filet Centerpiece Doily Pattern:  This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured.  The motif, officially a poinciana, makes quite an elegant star as well!  Worked in Size 10 cotton, the doily is 26 inches long.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5326 in 1950.  The newspaper description:  "Here is a beautiful filet centerpiece which measures 26 inches long. The design resembles a lovely tropical poinciana in full bloom and effective crocheted in either ecru or white thread"

• 4 Large Balls Mercerized Crochet Cotton, Size 10, White or Ecru.
• Steel Crochet Hook No 10 (Standard Size)
