Description

Banded Cardigan:   This pattern gives instructions for knitting the cardigan shown.  This vintage 1951 design is a long sleeved cardigan blouse with a patterned color banded yoke (worked to chart).  It is collarless, long sleeve and just below waist length.   The pattern is written for misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses. 

Materials: 

  • Nomotta Mothproof Sports Yarn (1 oz. ball). Main Color (MC), 7 (8, 9) balls. Contrasting Color (CC), 1 ball. 
  • Hero Measure-Knit needles No. 1 and No. 3. 
  • 1 open zipper; 
  • 1/2 yd. 1" ribbon. 

GAUGE: 7 sts =1"; 10 rows =1". 

Bust Measurements Blocked: 35 (37-39)".
