Beaded Red Hat Bag Set Crochet Pattern, National Needlecraft Bureau Leaflet PC 8227

Red Hat and Bag : This pattern contains directions to crochet the set shown. A cute set, it includes a simple hat, with a rounded crown and short brim that is just short of floppy. There is a decorative tie band at the base of the crown. The matching bag has a rounded bottom, quite tall with a drawstring cord closure and a carrying strap. And, to add a extra finishing touch, both are beaded - the hat, all around the rim edge and the bag randomly. This is a really cute set, bound to bring compliments. This design was originally issued as Leaflet PC 8227 by The National Needlecraft Bureau, Vintage 1940s.
