Description

Rose, Blue Afghan : This pattern gives instructions for crochet the afghan shown. This is a vintage design, going back to 1944, where it appeared in a Womans Day pamphlet. This is an very easy design, crocheted in two colors in rows and finished with (optional) fringe all the way around. The official description: "Misty shades of rose and blue wool are worked in wide stripes for this warm fluffy afghan. Crochet in block-stitch." The finished afghan (before fringe) will measure 52 inches square.

Materials:

  • BEEHIVE SCOTCH FINGERING, 3 Ply, 11 skeins (1 oz. skeins) of Delft Blue, 7 skeins of Rose.
  • Steel Crochet Hook No. 7.

GAUGE: 7 blocks make 2 ½ inches; 10 rows make 2 inches.
