Description

Afghan 1 : This pattern has directions for the afghan shown. The picture for this design (being a 2 x 3 magazine clip from 1946), is poor, however, this is a good solid design -- perfect for beginners to practice their skills. This design is created in simple blocks of knitting and purling alternates in an effective shadow-box pattern. The finished afghan will measure 47 x 51 inches.

Materials:

  • KNITTING WORSTED, 34 balls (1 oz. balls) of Yellow
  • Knitting Pins, 1 pair No. 10.
