Beret and Box Bag Crochet Pattern

Crocheted Hat & Bag: This pattern contains instructions for crocheting the hat and bag pictured. This vintage 1950's set starts with a slouchy beret that hangs extra low, along with a box shaped bag on long strap handles. The pattern called for Belastraw, which was a stiff cord type cord or yarn. Substitute for a heavier yarn to cord that will meet the gauge.

Materials:

• Dritz Luxury Belastraw Art. No. 110, 2 tubes.
• No. 1 steel crochet hook.

GAUGE: 6 sts = 1"; 5 rnds = 2".
