Big Needle Crochet Stripe Shell Zipper Jacket Pattern

B-682 Crochet Stripe Shell & Jacket: This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, BOTH the shell and jacket pictured above. Both are knitted with big needles giving them a fun and chunky look. They are striped in three 3 shades of one color - purples designated in the pattern, or colors of your choice. The shell has a boat neckline, extended shoulders and below hip length. The jacket has long sleeves, a slight V-neckline and front zipper. Both are sized Small (8-10), Medium (12-14) and Large (16-18). Instructions are size Small, with changes for Medium and Large shown in parentheses. The pattern set is vintage 1960s from Coats & Clark.

• - COATS & CLARK'S RED HEARr® KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): No. 586 Lilac: 8 (10,12) ounces for Shell; 12 (14,16) ounces for Jacket. No. 588 Amethyst: 8 (10,12) ounces for Shell; 16 (18,20) ounces for Jacket.
• No. 757 Wild Rose: 8 (8, 12) ounces for Shell; 12 (16,16) ounces for Jacket.
• - COATS & CLARK'S HEAVY JACKET ZIPPER, 22 (24, 24)- inch length for Jacket.
• - Crochet Hook, Size Q,
• - 5/8-inch dowel.
• - Hook and eye.
