Description

Ripple Coat : This pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, the coat pictured. The original description "Flared unadorned type dependent upon the pattern stitch and large pockets for smartness" doesn't give us much, but the (poorer quality) picture has fun potential. Not really a ripple, but definitely a raised and interesting pattern stitch that gives an almost rib faux effect. Below hip length, oversized and flowing with wide fold-back cuffs. This piece has the 'I Love Lucy' flair. Directions are for Size 12. Changes for Sizes 14 and 16 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • Unger's Fluffee, 15 (16- 17) skeins;
  • Wooden needles No. 13;
  • Steel Crochet Hook Size G.

Gauge: 5 sts = 1".
