Black White Striped Sweater Crochet Pattern

PC-5213 Sweater: This pattern has instructions to crochet the sweater pictured. This official description of this vintage 1950 design: "Black and White makes high type drama in a wool sweater conditioned to sprint-into-summer activities. Done loosely on an afghan hook. Large stitches and crocheted, of course. Curved-in waist, cap sleeves."

SIZES 12, 14, 16 - Instructions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14 and 16 are in parentheses.

Materials:

• Beehive Scotch Fingering Yarn, 3 ply, 6 (6-8) 1-oz. skeins black and 2 skeins white for all sizes.
• Royal Society plastic afghan hook No. 8.
• Steel crochet hook No. 1.
• Four small white pearl buttons.

Gauge: 6 sts=1"; 9 rows=2".
