Crocheted Sweater:  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted blouse worked in a simple pattern stitch with contrasting yoke and sleeve bands. The blouse, worked of either cotton or a 2-ply yarn, can be made in two sizes; 12-14 and 18-18 sizes by working in a different gauge.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 940 in 1959.  It was earlier released by Laura Wheeler as well.
