 Crocheted Chair Set:  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted chair set in No. 30 Mercerized Crochet Cotton. Two birds, in the pineapple design, are joined with lacy mesh for chair back; just a bird forms each arm rest.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 886.  The newspaper description:   "Something to sing about! A lucky bluebird chair set! Crochet it ever so easily in your favorite stitches. Keeps furniture clean. New and popular decorating touch in your favorite pineapple design".  This pattern was also marketed as Laura Wheeler 517.
