Boy Girl Striped Sweater Pattern Set

Brother & Sister Set 1056-C : This pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, the outfits pictured above. Titled a brother and sister set, the pattern has a striped cardigan sweater designed for either a boy or girl. The girls cardigan has a bib inset option. Also included is a skirt.  The vintage 1949 pattern is sized 4, 6 and 8. Instructions are written for size 4, with changes for 6 and 8 shown in parentheses.

Materials:   Columbia Sports Yarn in three colors (identified in pattern), or colors of your choice';   1 pair each 10" knitting needles; sizes 2 and 4;  22" steel circular needle, size 4 (standard). English sizes, 11 and 9;   Steel crochet hook size 2.

Gauge: 7 sts=1" (size 4 needles- stockinette st),
