Description

Junior Varsity Sweater: This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the cardigan jacket shown. This pattern has sizes referenced as 6, 10 and 14, which I would safely assume relate to small, medium and large. The cardigan has long sleeves, V-neckline, front pockets and is hip length. The neck and button band, as well as the pocket flaps as in a contrast color. This knitted pattern is vintage 1962.

Materials:

  • BEAR BRAND Bulky- Knit, 2-oz. skeins, 6 (7-8) skeins of Main Color (MC) and 1 skein Contrasting Color (CC).
  • Knitting needles, 1 pro each No.8 and No. 10 OR SIZE YOU REQUIRE TO KNIT TO GAUGE
  • Crochet Hook Size G.
  • 5 buttons.

GAUGE: On No. 10 needles, 4 sts = 1"; 11 rows = 2".
