This easy boys knitted raglan is worked in Biroche Stitch. 

Description

Knitted Pullover : This pattern contains directions for knitting the pullover shown. Worked in Knitting Worsted, in a biroche (rib type) pattern stitch, the hip length pullover has long raglan sleeves and a high round neckline -- a comfortable and warm affaiir. The pattern, vintage 1950's is written for a boys size 8, with changes for 10, 12 and 14 in parentheses.

Materials:   Bear Brand Standard Knitting Worsted, 4 (5·5) 4·oz. skeins; Bucilla plastic knitting needles Nos 4 and 6 (standard). English Sizes, 9 and 7.   Gauge: 6 sts=1”.
