Bulky Bolero : This pattern contains directions to knit, crochet detail, the bolero shown. It is really more of a knitted short sleeve jacket design, particular with the length, however, if this is what you are looking for, what does it matter what it is called ! The pattern is from leaflet W-819, distributed by Coats & Clarks - vintage 1960s.. The bolero is in a chunky, and quite easy, pattern stitch, worked on larger knitting needles. It has an open front, hip length and is sized for misses Small (30-32), Medium (34-36), and Large (38-40).

Materials:   COATS & CLARK'S "RED HEART" KNITTING WORSTED, 4 Ply ("Tangle-Proof" Pull-Out Skeins): 8 (8, 10) ounces each of No. 1 White and No. 717 Salmon;   Knitting Needles, 1 pair No. 15;   Crochet Hook Size G.  (GAUGE: 6 sts (2 V's) = 2-1/4 inches; 5 rows of nubs on wrong side (10 Pattern rows) = 2 inches.
