Description

Crocheted Jacket : This is a crochet pattern with directions to make the jacket pictured. From a 1944 Womans Day pamphlet, it is described as: " White smart ski jacket with bands of red in single and double crochet made in cotton rug yarn". The jacket is boxy, with long sleeves, an open front and hip length. Crocheted in rug yarn, it's an easy design with a bulky appearance. The pattern is written from misses size 14, with changes for 16 and 18 in parentheses.

Materials:

  • CLARK'S O.N.T. COTTON RUG YARN, 14 balls of White for Size 14; 16 balls for Size 16; 18 balls for Size 18. 1 ball of Red for all sizes.
  • Steel Crochet Hook size G.
