Description

Bulky Jacket -- Knitted and Crocheted: This pattern gives separate directions to knit or crochet the jacket pictured. The jacket, worked with larger needle, is a bulky design, loose fitting with long sleeves and roll back cuffs. The design is below hip in length with front button closure, patch pockets and contrast trim along all edges. This knit or crochet pattern is written for sizes small (10-12), with changes for medium (14-16) and large (18-20) in parentheses.

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspapers and catalogs.  This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 2699 in 1958.  

Materials - Knit:  COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART "TURBO-KNIT" 2 ply, Art. E. 274 (2 oz. folded skeins): 18 (19, 22) skeins Main Color (Mc), 1 skein (all Sizes) of Contrasting Color (Cc);   1 Pr. No. 10 or the size you require to obtain the specified stitch gauge.

Materials - Crochet:  COATS & CLARK'S RED HEART "TURBO-KNIT" 2 ply, Art. E. 274 (2 oz. folded skeins): 16 (18, 21) skeins Main Color (Mc), 1 skein (all Sizes) of Contrasting Color (Cc);   Crochet Hook No. J, or the size you require to obtain the specified stitch gauge.
