Description

Style No 876-95 : This pattern, vintage 1960's from Bernat, has directions to knit, crochet detail, the cardigan shown. What a soft and lovely design. Knit in a combination of Mohair and Astrahkan, the cardigan features three quarter length sleeves, front button band and V-neckline. The style is below hip length and wonderful for cooler weather wear.

These directions are for size 12. Changes for sizes 14, 16 and 18 are in parentheses.

MATERIALS

  • BERNAT Mohairspun (1 oz. pull skeins) — 18 (19-20-21) OR BERNAT Astrakhan (2 oz. Skeins) — 11 (12-12-13)
  • 1 pair each straight knitting needles Nos. 5 and 8
  • 1 aluminum crochet hook Size F
  • 6 buttons

GAUGE: 5 sts = 1 inch; 6 rows = 1 inch
