Cape Collar Mini Dress Pattern on Big Needles

Estrelita : This pattern contains directions to knit the dress pictured above. This is a big needle (size 50) vintage 1960s pattern. The dress is a loose fitting mini which features a marvelous cape collar and full sleeves that tie off at the wrist with use of crocheted covered ping pong balls. The pattern is sized Small (8-10), Medium (12-14) and Large (16-18). Instructions are written for Small, with changes for Medium and Large in parentheses.

Materials:

• - Reynolds Danskyarn 4 (5-6) balls; Kirsti 3 (4-4) balls; Estrellita 6 (7-7) balls. .
• Knitting needles required: Reynolds Jumbo Jets.
• Aluminum crochet hook size J.
• 4 ping-pong ball

Gauge: 4 sts = 3"; 5 rows = 3".
