Centerpiece Flower Doily Crochet Pattern Design 5182

Flower on Flower Centerpiece: This pattern gives directions to crochet the doily pictured. This is a large doily, billed as a centerpiece, at 18 inches in diameter. It begins with a flower center, plenty of lacy mesh and another wide round of petals .. thus the flower on flower. It finishes with small scallops.

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs.   This pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5182.  The pattern was included in the 1969 Anne Cabot Needlework Album. 

Materials:   About 700 yards of #50 6-cord mercerized Crochet Cotton;   NEEDLE: #12 Milwards Steel Crochet Hook.   Note: If a larger centerpiece is desired use No. 30 with #10 Steel Crochet Hook or No. 20 with #8 Steel Crochet Hook.
