Child Knitted Puppy Slippers Pattern Laura Wheeler Design 911

Childs Knitted Slippers: This pattern contains directions for warm, cozy slippers worked in the heavy Knitting Worsted. They can be made small, medium and large; each size will adjust to three different sizes. The main part of each slipper is done in one flat piece, knitted on two needles. If desired, finish slippers with firm leather or felt soles. Slippers are childs size small (4 - 6), medium (7 - 9) and large (10-12).

This is a Mail Order pattern, purchased through newspapers and catalogs. This pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 911.  The newspaper description:  "Be a smart Santa and whip up these smart slippers for the children on your list. Jiffy knit slippers - one piece plus ribbed cuffs. Puppy's face on one, multi-colored balls on other".
