Description

Two Colored Cardigan : This pattern contains directions to knit the cardigan shown. A cute little selection for our little girls (or boys), this cardigan has a checked, or plaid, two color pattern stitch, with solid contrast sleeves and large collar. The front closes with 7 buttons. The vintage 1949 pattern is sized 2 to 5. The directions are written for a size 2, with changes for 3, 4 and 5 shown in parentheses.

Materials:   Mary Lamb Knitting Worsted; 4-oz. skeins. 2 (2, 2 1/2 ,3) skeins MC; 1/2 skein CC;   No, 4 knitting needles;   7 buttons;  GAUGE: 6 sts = 1"; 8 rows = 1".
