Childs Knitted Coat Jacket Leggings Pattern

Little Red Riding Hood & Jack Frost: This knitting pattern gives directions to knit, crochet detail, both the coat and jacket shown. The girls set includes the longer winter coat, a pair of spats and a hat. The boys set includes a hooded jacket and a pair of pants / leggings. Mix and match the pieces as you choose. These patterns are toddler sized - 2, 3 and 4. Directions are shown for size 2, with changes for 3 and 4 shown in parentheses.

Materials Required:   Columbia Minerva Nantuk 4-ply for both the coat and jacket;   Coat - Knitting Needles: One pair Boye Sizes 6 and 8;   crochet hook Size G.   Gauge: Stockinette on Size 8 - 9 sts to 2 inches; 6 rows to 1 inch.    Jacket:   Knitting Needles: One pair each Boye Sizes 6 and 8;   One crochet hook, Size F;   2 giant bobbins and one cable needle.   Gauge: Stockinette St on Size 8 - 9 sts to 2 inches; 6 rows to 1 inch.
