Childs Pullover Sweater Knitting Pattern, Buttoned Shoulder

Classic Pullover : This pattern contains directions for knitting the pullover pictured. It's a cute design, with high neckline, long sleeves and wide bottom band. The pattern stitch, worked to attached chart, features a tall V-motif just above the bottom band and across the top of the neck and shoulder line. The sweater is a pullover with a four button band across the left shoulder. The knitted directions are written for a childs size 6, with changes for 8 and 10 in parentheses.

Materials:

• Pingouin Nageur, 50-gr. balls, 3 (4-4) balls Sevres (Blue);
• Hero Knitting Needles No. 2;
• 4 buttons.

Gauge: 8 sts = 1"; 11 rows = 1".

Note: I've not found a reference for a yarn substitute; you'll need to experiment to meet the pattern stitch.
