Childs Striped Pullover Knitting Pattern

Striped Slipon:   This pattern contains directions to knit the childs slip-on pictured:  The official 1953 magazine description: "A V-necked, dress-up variation of a little boy's everyday favorite—the easy-on, comfortable T-shirt. This one is knitted in stripes of navy, white and light blue. It can be worn alone or over a short-sleeved dress shirt. Knit of Zelta Zephyr Fingering Yarn or Kitten Soft Brand Dacron Yarn".   Sizes: Directions are for size 4. Changes for sizes 6 and 8 are in parentheses.  

Materials:  Zelta Zephyr Fingering Yarn or Kitten Soft Brand Dacron Yarn, 3 ply, 2 (3-3) 1-oz. skeins Navy (N), 2 (3-3) skeins Lt. Blue (B), 1 (2-2) skeins White (W);   Knitting needles Nos. 1 and 2. (Or, English sizes, 12 and 11.)
