Childs Sweater Cardigan Knitting Pattern

Goldilocks, Little Jack Horner: Here's another sweater / cardigan sweater to knit (crochet edges) for your toddler ... boy or girl. One pattern creates a buttoned sweater and the 2nd is for a v-neck cardigan. Both are long sleeved, and both will keep those young ones both warm and well dressed. This vintage (1968) pattern set is from Columbia Minerva. It is for Sizes 1 - 4. Directions are given for size 1, with changes for 2, 3 and 4 shown in parentheses.

Goldilocks (on left) - Materials Required:

• Columbia Minerva Yarn.
• Knitting Needles: One pair each Boye Sizes 3 and 4,
• One cable needle
• One crochet hook Size 4.

Gauge: 7 sts to 1 inch; 10 rows to 1 inch.

Little Jack Horner (on right) - Materials Required:

• Columbia Minerva Nantuk Precious.
• One pair each Boye Sizes 5 and 6,
• Cable needle
• Crochet hook Size 1.

Gauge: 11 sts to 2 inches; 7 rows to 1 inch.
