Classic Granny Square Afghan Pattern

Ancestral Favorite: This pattern creates a 1940s version of the classic Granny Square ... this one named Ancestral Favorite.  This colorful design is comprised of 5-1/4 inch blocks in various colors (or your choice).  It is then joined in 9 rows of 13 blocks each and measures approx. 51 x 72 inches. This is an easy piece to crochet and is sure to be a favorite for years.

Materials Required:  - Chadwicks Red Heart Knitting Worsted, 40 balls (1 oz balls) of Wood Brown and 35 balls of assorted colors (or leftovers);   Clarks O.N.T. Crochet Hook No 7.
