Color Block Crochet Afghan Pattern

Big Square: This pattern contains directions to crochet the afghan pictured. This afghan is made up in 10 1/2 inch motif blocks in an array of color (as designated or colors of your choice).  Worked primarily in single crochet, this is an easy beginners level afghan that measures 42 x 63 inches.  

Materials Required:  AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "AUNT LYDIA'S" HEAVY RUG YARN 4 - 70 yd. skeins Black 3 - 70 yd. skeins each Cork, Yellow, Pink, Old Rose, Cerise, Turquoise, Dk. Green;   Aluminum Crochet Hook Size K OR ANY SIZE HOOK WH:CH WILL RESULT IN STITCH GAUGE BELOW

GAUGE: 5 sts = 2 inches; 2 Rows = 1 inch
