Description

No 3804 : This pattern, vintage 1958 from Bernat, contains instructions to crochet the afghan pictured above. This afghan, made up in four colors is done in the cluster stitch. It is oval and somewhat resembles a hand braided run. The clusters are stitched in panels 10 inches wide and then sewn together. The finished afghan is approx. 50 x 72 inches.

Materials:

  • Bernat Nylo Germantown (2 oz skeins) in Black, Peach Blossom, Cerise and Iris.
  • 1 aluminum crochet hook Size I or any size hook which will give the stitch gauge.

Gauge: 3 clusters = 2 inches : 1 panel = 10 inches in width.
