Colorful Woven Crochet Area Rug Pattern

Woven Rug : This pattern contains instructions to crochet the rug shown.   This rug is made in multiple steps, with an end result being a bright and colorful piece to adorn your home.   First you crochet the base and then the color strands are darned through the rug.   It is on the large size at 63 x 46 inches, before the long fingers of fringe are added.   Material substitutions are given to make a smaller rug as well. This pattern is vintage 1951 from American Thread.

• 18-80yd. Skeins Red.
• 4-80yd. Skeins Green.
• 7-80yd. Skeins Beige.
• 9-80yd. Skeins Yellow. 
• SteelCrochet Hook Size J for large rug. Steel Crochet 
• Hook Size G forsmall rug.
