Connecticut Modern Medallion Square

Medallion Crochet Pattern : This pattern gives directions to crochet the medallion pictured. This design, vintage 1950's, was named Connecticut Modern. The medallion is worked in two complimentary colors and will measure 5 inches square when completed. Join the medallions to form spreads, cloths, runners, chair sets, or other items of your choice.

Materials: COATS & CLARK'S O.N.T. "SPEED-CRO-SHEEN" MERCERIZED COTTON, Art. C.44:

• Single Size Spread – 70 x 110 inches-25 balls of No. 1 White, 45 balls of No. 76-A Aqua and 35 balls of No. 12-A Blue Sparkle. Double Size Spread – 90 x 110 inches-30 balls of No. 1 White, 53 balls of No. 76-A Aqua and 45 balls of No. 12- Blue Sparkle.
• Milwards Steel Crochet Hook No. 2/0 (double zero).

GAUGE: Each motif measures 5 inches square and requires 8 yards of White, 11 yards of Blue Sparkle and 13 yards of Aqua.
