Description

Georgetown Dress : This vintage 1960 pattern contains instructions to knit, crochet edges, the two piece dress pictured above. The green (or color of your choice) dress sports deep and wide ring collar knit on bias. Blouse fits loosely over slightly shaped skirt. It is knit on circular needles in reverse stockinette stitch. The pattern is sized 10 to 16. The instructions are size 10, with changes for 12, 14 and 16 shown in parentheses. * This pattern includes a 4 page handout of knitting tips *

Materials:

  • Spinnerin Mohair Boucle or Alpine or Spinnerin Cortina or Mohair.
  • 24 inch circular needle No 11
  • 14 inch knitting needles No 11 (Or English Size 1).
  • Steel crochet hook No 00.
  • One yard 1/2 inch elastic
  • One stitch holder
  • Large eyed needle.

Gauge: 3 sts = 1 inch; 5 rows = 1 inch.
