Description

Baby Bunting : This pattern contains directions to crochet the cover shown. This style outfit, referred to as a Bunting in earlier generations, resembles a little sleeping bag for baby. This one is a closed sacque with a hood lined in ribbon, as is the front closure. It remains closed with additional ribbon ties. A perfect way to sleep the new baby. The size is not stated, however, I would suggest this would be most appropriate for baby 0 to 6 months. This pattern is vintage 1940s from Chadwicks Red Heart Yarn.

Materials:

  • CHADWICK'S RED HEART BABY WOOL, 12 balls (¾ oz. balls).
  • Steel Crochet Hook, size G.
  • 2 yards ribbon, 1 ½inches wide.
  • 1 ½ yards ribbon, 1 inch wide.

GAUGE: 2 puff sts make 1 inch; 4 rows (2 puff st rows and 2 sc rows) make 1 inch.
