Crocheted Baby Set:  This pattern contains directions for a crocheted baby set consisting of a jacket, cap and bootees. The set is worked in a very simple pattern stitch with contrasting bands to create a yoke effect on the jacket. Use white with a color or combine two colors or two shades of one color.  The pattern is sized for baby between 6 and 12 months.

This is a Mail Order Design pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Laura Wheeler 237 in 1942.   It was later released under the Alice Brooks brand in 1961.
