Vintage 1946

A very simple but handsome sun or bathing suit which can be crocheted in two pieces is fastened all the way down the sides with buttons so that the little garment is whisked on and off in a jiffy. It is crocheted of bright blue cotton with alternate stripes of white. Red and white, all-white, all navy or any one of the pastel shades will be equally attractive.  Sizes 1, 2, 3 years included,  

Description

Crocheted Sunsuit:   This pattern gives directions to crochet the sweet sunsuit pictured.  It is worked in three parts - top - middle band - bottom in Size 50 Pearl Cotton.   The pattern is written for baby size one, with changes for two and three in parenthesis. 

This is a Mail Order pattern purchased through newspaper advertisements and catalogs.  The pattern was marketed as Anne Cabot 5129 in 1946.
